Hi! I’m Clare!
I’m a coloured pencil artist with a deep love for nature, animals, and the quiet stories hidden in the landscape. Whether it’s a sun-dappled barn, a shimmering lake, or a beloved horse or pet, I’m drawn (literally!) to the moments that make you stop and feel something.
My style leans into realism—but not just the surface-level kind. I’m always chasing the light: the way it bounces, reflects, and reveals what’s often overlooked. I believe every scene has a spirit, and every subject has a story waiting to be told through colour, depth, and detail.
Drawing has taught me to see—not just what’s there, but what’s quietly waiting to be noticed. My hope is that when you view my work, you feel a spark of that same connection… like we’re both pausing to appreciate something beautiful, together.
In my work, I hope you will find encouragement, a little whimsy, something pretty or at least something to make you think.
I do believe we need to be thankful and focus on the positive! I am passionate about art and believe that we are all creative in our own way. I love sharing the joy of art with others!
